i was reading up a little on sloths and found this interesting. Their average speed .5 to 1 foot per MINUTE! their maximum speed is 15 feet per minute but this is exhausting and sucks the energy out of them. and they are so lazy that if their baby falls off them, (they often give birth while hanging upside down in a tree, AWKWARD!) even though the baby is perfectly fine, they are too lazy to go get it.
