Holy crap, it’s November and that means I’ve become a daily NaBloPoMoMoFo.
Here’s what’s going on at Rockefeller Center today: Cranberry-raking! Hellifino. There’s a reflecting pool filled with them, and rain-garbed, crusty old men are raking them around while some kind of old-timey wheelie thing spins on and on in the corner. Spinning wheel? Cran-grinder? wft, mate?
I didn’t have time to really smoke it out, having spent all my allotted out-of-office time in the sales den at Anthropologie. Great success!
Also: yesterday, (HALLOWEEN, PEOPLE!) I saw my first Christmas display. Today, I heard my first Christmas carol in Macy’s. Bryant Park has their skating rink up and running, and Rockefeller Center is working on theirs. I am not pleased.
